So Ya'll...

What suburb would be older, with larger lots, funkier? I'm not really interested in small lots with look a like houses....

Dripping Springs is not older but has large lots, northern side of Austin and Pfluegerville have larger lots and some farmy area still. The Austin area is interesting because it is growing so quickly. I've lived here (Round Rock) for almost 14 years and this suburb has at least doubled, maybe trippled in that time. Around the edges there are still large lots, large lots close in cost big bucks. As Yardbird said...hope you don't mind traffic.

My husband and I may be in the area that weekend. Is anyone going to have hatching eggs available? I am especially interested in cuckoo maran or other maran eggs.

Well its both. A little meet/greet and a little swap/sell. I have been the last two years. The first year there were a lot of birds that came for sell or trade. Last year only a few. And its good food and fun( meet/greet ).

We're coming! Me (Tobi), DH and our just-turned-three year old daughter -- and maybe the in-laws visiting from Germany. What do you need us to bring food or drink wise?

If anyone is interested in Silkie (Bearded White Silkie) and Sizzle chicks (they look more frizzle than silkie) I have a few of each to sell and can bring them with me. All vaccinated against Marek's.

I'm looking for a showgirl Sillkie -- white bearded, pure. Anyone who is attending have one to sell?
