Anybody else getting a huge downpour of rain, thunder, and lightning right now??? I know we sure are here in San Antonio!!!

I'm in SA and getting it right now. Thank goodness I paid attention to my back injury. Dang weatherman said no rain till 5PM, but my back said nope, it's coming now. So I got everyone locked up and dry before it hit this time.

Wow good for you I ended up getting up right before it started, realizing it was too dark out I closed the dog gate so they wouldn't bring mud into the house and BOOM the rain started. I thought my silkies would know to go to the coop but I looked out and they had shrunk down to half their size!!! They looked even more like aliens than usual!!!

pfft its tx, you cant go off by what a weatherman says

Yeah, it's more like do the opposite of what the weatherman says. They never get it right! Never thought I'd be greatful for my back injury, but it really does let me know when the weather changes. Just wish it didn't hurt so dang much!

When it rains my chickens stay out in it like idiots! I always get soaked trying to round them up and into their coop. This time I got them, the ducks, and geese all up and safe 45 minutes before the rain hit. I am so grateful for that. The last thing I need is to get sick chasing chickens around in the rain!

Hope you got your silkies put away without being soaked.
