Barbara Kicks the Bucket

It had been cold and drizzly weather, so the girls kept pretty much to the coop. Once it dried out though, Leroy led his true love Barbara and her twin sister Monica out to play. They did a bit of gardening, looked for snacks, and bathed in the dust hole under the big pine tree (Barbara has to be careful, though, so Leroy doesn’t get big ideas . . . )

Barbara was the first to spy the BUCKET! Bucket = food! She heaved her Big Butt out of the dust hole and went to investigate. Yesssss!! There was corn scratch at the bottom, but try as she could, Barbara could not reach it. Leroy and Monica came over to see if Barbara had found treats, but they couldn’t reach it either. Leroy could hardly see over the edge. Pretty soon with all the jostling for position, Barbara managed to kick the bucket over.

Par-tay!!!

Apparently the Big Butt is not limited to Barbara alone . . .

The BOs were invited, too. The back view of the BO girls made Barbara feel smaller.

I check several times a day to see what Barbara has been up to...and if you have posted her latest adventure. If I'm having a bad day, she makes me laugh with her antics.

Thanks Mrs. Chickendad for making my days a little brighter by sharing Barbara.

By the way, the reason I have such a fondness for Barbara is because I have 2 Barred Rocks with a Barbara type personality.
