valsey--you came on here for advice and that's what people have given you. Yes, it is quite disturbing to hear you say that this is a daily ongoing ritual. But YOU said it. In your opening statement, it almost sounded comical-as in "here's a good one - and I cannot make this stuff up" until I read further down to find that this is a serious issue. There are over 50 some thousand members on here by now--seriously, there will be comments that we don't want to hear...it's a fact. But you asked for advice...people also give their opinions here. It is what it is. There's no need to take such offense...although you have. There's a problem here and we're all envisioning a goat laying there thinking "what's the point of running? They're just gonna do it again tomorrow." and you're standing there saying "ok, here's a good one" It's upsetting. It's not good...by any means, and I personally take it offensive that you're not more seriously concerned with your goat. I can see that you're concerned, but it doesn't seem like you're concerned enough to seperate them.
She doesn't like it...she's probably just tired of it and it hurts too "freakin" bad! I ripped my toenail completely off not long ago and a simple blade of grass brought me to my knees in tears. It doesn't matter if the goat is 200 lbs. it's constant picking, pain, and agony. You asked for ideas, they've been given. Suck it up. It is what it is...
