The Cluck 'n Quack: Stories of our birds

I know it’s early, but I‘m thinking about what breeds I should get (for both chickens and ducks) next spring. I’m really hoping dad takes me to TSC instead of Atwoods because they have a much bigger breed selection. It’s a little bit farther away, but it’d be worth it!
These are the breeds TSC has. Any recommendations?
@StinkyAcres @Little Baby Bean @JustBabyMargo @Chikyboy @The-White-Elephant @Everose and anyone else I’ve forgotten.

I would say Jersey giants, Brahmas, and welsummer for the chickens.

Not sure about the ducks, i say choose which one you like best.

Oh! Maybe some Speckled sussexes, they are beautiful. I need to get one one day.
Or maybe two:

I don't have experience with many breeds even though I've been raising chickens for almost 13 years. But I think you already know what I'd recommend - Easter Eggers! (looks like they call them "Americanas" there 😒).

Breeds I wouldn't recommend include: Rhode Island Red, Golden Comet, or other similar egg production breed and Buff Orpington.

My next breeds will be Brahmas and Jersey Giants. Wish I could get them right now!
