The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

I always thought so too. She was married, and got pregnant by the one brother. He divorced her, because he didn't want children. The other brother married her. A friend of my daughter was in a similar situation. The one brother was living with with her, got her pregnant, then dumped her. His brother stepped up to the plate, married her, and is raising the baby. Daughter's friend says she got the best husband. He's good to her, he's good to the baby, and over time they actually fell in love.

Well that sounds civil. Glad they can all get along.

Remember the friend that was going to Disney with her family, and they all piled in on me? Well, she called today. She wanted to go to her brother's for Thanksgiving, but can't because of her husband's dialysis. He can get dialysis in Tampa, so she's coming to Tampa instead, for Thanksgiving. She would love to visit with me. First words out of my mouth were, "where are you staying"? Well, she's not sure. Pregnant pause....(I know she was waiting for me to offer, but I was NOT about to), then she said she might be able to stay at her ex's house. She thought he and his girlfriend might be going to Miami, and they could stay there while he was gone. Her ex is her current husband's brother, so it's not so unusual. Just so it's not here.

Good for you! I don't like folks expecting to descend on me just because they're coming to the mountains. Thankfully, there is only a basement area to stay in with an awful bathroom, LOL.

we have been getting a lot of rain here!
We did, too, then it stopped. No rain expected until Monday. And the temps the first week of August are going to be rather low for that time of year, highs in the upper 70's. It will be heavenly, but rainy.
