The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I guess Spring has Sprung and the fraudulence has started up again. There are buyers that lie about being able to home and feed your birds properly. They just want to put them in inhumane circumstances long enough to get eggs out of them for a quick buck. They are not paying attention to what they are breeding they just want to sell eggs. Then you have sellers stealing pictures and claiming they have this line or that and misrepresent what they are doing.

I try to put myself in other people's shoes. You just don't know what kind of situation they are in that makes them dishonest enough to lie or steal. It hurts my feelings more than anything and I do get very upset thinking that my birds might not be treated as they should. One just never knows if it could be us in the same situation ourselves. It could be us just a pay check away for most of us. That's why it's so important to be honest and good to people. Then you have people that are willing to help you if you are in need and wouldn't need to resort to fraud or theft.

The morale of the story is "what goes around comes around". Be good to others and you will receive it tenfold. It's just hard not to be upset over all the wrong doings this time of year.

Well said Dee..you do reap what you sow..its just the way it is..throw a lot of bad out, it will boomerang..not today, not tommorrw, but it will..sad that people stoop to this level..it doesnt help anything to do with the breeds..because the few people that really do want these big bigs and are willing to work on them will get sour and get something else when they hatch something other than what they ordered..very sad.

All of his auctions appear to be suspended.

For y'all's info, (that's "you all" for you northerners), brand new digital cameras can be purchased at the big auction site for as little as $6 including shipping. So, there is no excuse for anyone to not use their own pics.
