The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I'm so upset that a fox ate 4 of my black orpingtons and 2 guinea hens. The darn fox came out in broad daylight and snatched them. The kids saw the fox and they started screaming. We only have one sweet lonely black orpington hen and 9 guineas left. I want to get more orpingtons. If anyone knows where I can get some sweet, fluffy, friendly orpingtons, please let me know. I would prefer more blacks or buffs or whites. The exotic colors are beautiful but seem to be too expensive. I live in Rhode Island so a local person would be great.

More grand chicklets ? I want photos !!!!

yes mam..your a grandma again..the singleton will no longer have to look at the vapid stare of 2 teddy bears, and me pretending to be good chicken company...going to have some real honest company pretty soon...one should be out shortly..the other is pipped but like their easy going nature.....taking their sweet time...

Hi

New to the thread but thought I'd better get amped up on my Orp knowledge.

Have always had the standard production Buffs and have loved them, but have now delved into the English blues and the lavs. This past week couldn't pass up on the English bantam chocs.

Looks like this thread will be a well used tool, and I know, from the other threads, great people are on this site!!
