Try breeding a Splash male over the girls. You will still get some dark blues but you will get some lighter ones too. When you breed blue to blue you will always get three varying shades. Always keep your lighter ones with good lacing. Lacing genes produce good lacingI am sure this has been talked about but I can't find any answer....I am wondering how you can improve the lacing on the blues...and also how do you get lighter shades of blue...right now I am only getting SUPER dark blues...their lacing in good but they are just to dark for my liking.
Wow, Renie you are a hatching machine. Can't wait to see them. I am looking forward to seeing some jivies too.Such beautiful babies... ") News Flash... more splits are hatching![]()
LOL! when i have a day with extra time..i let rogers blue rooster out in the lawn ,if the driveway is wet, he leaves footprints that look like a prehistoric bird has been out there..they do have huge legs and feet..A few of these guys have legs like tree trunks! A friend said are you sure these aren't ostriches, their feet are huge! Lol.. Told her they were going to need those big legs and feet to support some big boys!
