The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I had to catch EVERY single one of mine... then keep them separated so she didn't miss anybody... I was soo tired... I think we did 96 or so.

Today was Debug Day. I had to again catch each bird... dust them by hand and keep the separated until I was done. 6 cans of dust later... I was done.. man I am tired.
im still whipped..love how we do everything on schedule..for me thurs is flock worming..but thats easy.i did dusting again about 4 days ago..i have to..the wild birds bring stuff in..

he has been over blue hens and we have hatched a lot of blue and black chicks split for motteled and im very excited about breeding the back to the motteled and make blue motteled

Dusting is no fun. I always end up looking like the shake and bake lady. I even dust my many pairs of wrens who are in charge of bug control. Got to catch them at night on the nest. They all sleep in boxes in the coops. I think I counted 16 wrens last week.
i do too..i brought home a box of hospital masks ..that stuff gets to me after a while
