Orpingtons make lovely lawn ornaments!
Just a beautiful breed. Particularly the hens.

thanks..im blessed with them..i love their beautiful bowl shape..and tight wing carriage..not sure quite what the germans did here..but they sure knew how to build the house..i dont think they are much capable of barn blindness...they kind of laugh at my color nit pick..they told me, , you americans need to just buy a car , worry about things you dont need to..they think its funny...i get eye rolling smileys a lot..i will say what about this slight smut feather..i get the rolling eye..hee hee..learned to just relax a little.and enjoy it..they are very immature birds yet..i am just enjoying the ride now..learned a LOT over this last year from some very good and generous people..rolling eye smiley and all.....I agree, it's fast becoming my favorite past time- very pretty whites by the way! I am learning a new appreciation for the whites since I got sent the ones from GFF. I really didn't want them to begin with, but after loosing 1 each of the partridge, red & white babies the first few days after getting them I decided to go on & keep the white to see how they turned out. It looks like of the 3 remaining whites only 1 is a pullet, but she is sooo cute!
Thought I'd post a few photos of Winston and Clementine, the proud parents. I know I've posted these before, but what the heck /img/smilies/big_smile.png

the price is set based on quality of the birds and rarity of the color so before pricing your birds you should love them over for faults and defects because not all offspring will be show/breeder quality " witch are worth the most " you will have some that are pet quality or project stage and may still be beautiful birds not worth as much as show quality or breeder quality birdsDoes anyone have any idea how much a crele orpington would cost? And why cant i post an add as i have over 20 posts. ??? We will be selling creles and jubilees and reds soon and i need to be able to post. Thanks
