The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

the price is set based on quality of the birds and rarity of the color so before pricing your birds you should love them over for faults and defects because not all offspring will be show/breeder quality " witch are worth the most " you will have some that are pet quality or project stage and may still be beautiful birds not worth as much as show quality or breeder quality birds

as for the crele a ture import crele is woth a lot but must of the "crele " you see are not true crele but are buff x cuckoo projects and well never be true crele

I do not know the quality of your birds or where they came from but if the "crele" you have for sell are out of the bird you have in your avatar pic then I very sorry to tell you but that is not a crele it looks like a American project bird from buff x cuckoo breeding

the fancy chick -- rockenpaints has some great crele she also has done a lot of work on " project type crele " if I was serious about razing crele I would suggest you contact her she should be able to help explant to you the difference between crele and project buff x cuckoo

not trying to upset anyone
I agree with you about the fancy chick's- they are beautiful- in fact I was bidding on some of her chicks recently on RBA- I didn't win- couldn't afford to go as high as they went... IF I ever get any, it will likely be from her. That's where my 75% English lav's came from.

Thank you Joe and PugBug. I would be happy to share any information i have with anyone who is interested. I haven't been on here in a couple weeks and I have missed so much. Been busy preparing for a minor surgical procedure which is over now and am looking forward to getting back outside.

I have missed so many beautiful baby pics! Lynne your babies are growing up so fast! I hope you get something to hatch out of those last eggs. Roger your babies are hatching as we speak and they are soooooooo cute! I will try to get some pics to share on here. Joe I still LOVE that spangled roo of yours and would sure like some of his offspring some day

I also love love that black male that you bred that Marc sent me. He is producing 100% fertility. So far only black chicks. Thanks Marc.

I second contacting her for advise on your birds or if you are looking for quality Crele's. She has some outstanding birds.

These are my whites I got from GFF also. They are about 12 weeks old in the pictures. They are my biggest chickens!! The Partridge pullet is the same age.

The Whites are from GFF ? I've never seen any photos of their White Orp breeding stock. Have you ? I'd love to see photos of those.
I've never seen their breeding stock, didn't even know they had the whites until they were sent in the box with the red, partridge & jubilee chicks. I did email Jenny @ GFF about the whites after I got them. She said they only hatch a limited amount of them & the parent birds were "European imports". She said they were" big, very good quality birds". Judging by these babies, I am pleased with them!

Thank You!! I added a friends flock to mine, I did not have a rooster so her boy has seemed to cross well with my original girls. happy with them. I have been watching your crele birds too, I want some of those and some spangled in the worst way, but it will be a while before I can get any!
