is there a certain color combo to get get blue splashes? I only have white splashes at the moment but I would like to have a few blue splash also just not sure what colors to breed together to get them.

I am keeping him in hopes he turns out really well. I really like the shape on the Blue Splash better although he is not as tall. He is very round. I took 11 chickens to drop off at the auction this morning. I am trying to cull through them but hopefully not make any hasty decisions. I took 2 hens and 2 blue pullets at POL. 1 Cock, 5 cockerels. I think a few of the blue cockerels I kept might turn out to dark but I am keeping till I see them a few months down the road to know for sure. They change so much in the course of a month. I am keeping all the black cockerels for now and may take some to shows to sell later on in the year if they look good. They sure are eating a lot though. I still have over 40 chicks growing ouit. Renie I don't know how you do it. It has been a long time since I had this many.

"Blue Splash" is a redundant name. It is the exact same thing as splash.
You get it the same way you get every other splash- blue x splash, splash x splash, or blue x blue.

some splash have black spots, some have blue, who cares if its redundant, its not often seen that they are blue with lacing and spots, verses off white with black or blue spots. yes splash is splash but I see two different colors on them.
