Does anyone have a picture of their dark blue English at 1 month of age? How about a splash at the same age? Just want to get a sense of if mine are growing well. They seem to be feathering out slower than my others but the others are hatchery chicks so I'm guessing that they have been "sped up" LOL

Anyone headed to Twin Tiers in New York next weekend?, WE ARE!!! I am super stoked and hear I may run into Aveco there? We really have nothing show worthy, but I'll be there and am bringing a blue Orp to show, I look forward to talking poultry and cheering for my littles when they do showmanship.

What is it about Blues this age? They look huge with super large feet.Nice lacing !

see ya there blarney...they are the best group of people on earth..i,ll introduce you around..such a great time..im meeting matt and family up there..cant wait to see your blue orpie...and love the kids in showmanship...matt kind of hyjacked my roger blue..she will be there..he and his son have quite a line up..his boy won big with his bantam cochin at the last show for asiatic and a trophy for something orpie but dont remember what.i have pics of it that they sent down..cute...theres a great pizza place up there ..well bs buying a sheet so hope youll be hungrey...im going casual , just going to watch matts boy show a few orpies i gave him in jrs...havnt been feeling up to everything that needs to be done.... but im rooting the kids on you know..they are the future noahs arc.matt and his boy work like nobody ive seen..man they dont quit..spotless place..my best decided it would be a good time to molt the middle of his tail ..pretty....not..

Wow!!!! Mine are definitely lagging behind!!!

This is them at 22 days. They've feathered out a little more since then (3 days ago) but I seriously doubt they will look like yours in a few days!!

So you don't think there's anything to worry about?? They certainly act fine but they definitely are slower to develop than my hatchery chicks. Certainly putting on weight and getting rounder though!!! LOL
