Very sorry for your loss.
I found a snake in my juvenile run this morning. He had eaten one of my Crele orp juveniles
First snake I've found in almost 2 years *knock on wood*

Luckily every snake ive seen has either been a rat snake or just a small garden snake. The gardensnake was ran over with the lawnmower and died. So I gave it to the chickens and boy they went nuts. The black rat snake got away un harmed.
