I think she is beautiful! I am going to do Isabelle/Crele. I am tempted also to do Silver Laced Chocolate. I saw one on a British website and WOW gorgeous. We have 100% English Silver Laced and we have 100% English Chocolate lines on this side of the pond. It would be a fun second project I think. Anyone know which would be better, covering Silver laced hens with a Choc Roo or the other way around? Any good genetic guys out there want to step up?

I'm thinking of doing silver laced chic. Too!!!

I created a silver lace chocolate last year. Of course, it was still in a project stage but the hen was interesting nonetheless.
I sold her but the new owner is continuing the project for choc lace, or choc silver lace. Here she is at about 4 months old.

That splash is just darling. so happy you got a splash.

I took a few pics this afternoon too.  first I willpost a pic of  a blue pullet that was Winston over Minerva. Minerva for anyone who doesn't know is a blue hen that won Best Variety as a pullet at the Ohio National last year. I sent her to Joy to breed to Winston. She has beautiful lacing and looks like her daughter does too.

I can't remember how old she for sure but I think four months

Next is black boy from Tubby he is very English typey. His comb and wattles are too large to suit me but can't part with him just yet. He is six months old.

In this next photo are 3 Winston/Minerva/and other hen I sent Joy 's offspring plus a few Charlies too

Next are some of Joy's Winston/her other blue and black hens offspring.

Love these splash. Sorry about their dirty breast feathers. With this hot weather they like to lay up on their water bowls and they soil their feathers when they go back to the feed

Some more photos of this group that hatched for me.

I'm new to English orps. This chocolate LF baby is 4.5 weeks old. Talk about slooooooow development! Can any of you more experienced English orp parents give advice? Is this normal? This little one is like a giant day old chick! Is this baby leaning towards pullet or cockerel? Thanks!
