Joy, I'll PM it to you right now.
This summer when are herbs are flowering and have grown some I will definitely take you up on your offer to help me make some soaps of my own. I have a Rose Geranium that smells wonderful to me that I would love to use! Anyways... enough soap!
No "pullet" egg today that I'm aware of, I checked the nesting boxes when I came home and found nothing. The eggs that were collected all earlier in the day looks like normal beige Delaware eggs, though one had a bunch of bloom that made it look almost a mauve-pink color, very pretty. Honestly, the fact that there wasn't another leads me to believe that it probably was a Orp pullet egg, I'd imagine that after laying their first they might wait a day or so before giving me another. I will be keeping a close watch for them, that's for sure.
I moved Neville outside today to the Orpy coop. I checked him over for any signs of illness before doing so and he seemed fine. His eyes were bright and clear, his come and wattles were red and prominent. His stance wasn't droopy or lethargic. I felt good about putting him with his future girls, plus he was getting kinda stinky in the dog carrier. A lot of his fluff was dirty from sitting down all day.
SO! I moved him outside. I separated the coop with a PVC/chicken wire "wall" to slowly introduce him to the flock. The girls didn't seem seem interested him at all. They came into the coop, clucked around at him and left. He's still pretty nervous about being in a new environment and isn't doing much but hunkering down on his roost. He is eating and drinking regularly, so I'm happy.
No, I haven't taken any pictures yet...
BUT! I promise that this weekend I will snap a few photos of him. Julie wasn't kidding when she said he had great color, he's very very splashy and I LOVE that!
