The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Quote:
Katy, I've been corresponding with ChooksChick's friend Marc (Radirevo) about his Diamond Jubilees and when we can expect them to be here in the States, I'm not sure whether or not he would want the information shared publicly but I can fill you in via PM.

Also, I'm #2 on his "list" of sorts to get my hands on some... when he told me I was second in line the my mind immediately thought, "Katy must have beat me to them!

Unless Renee got my name on his "list" for me it isn't me that's in front of you.

Looking over these photos really carefully, I can see the differen breeds used by the breeders I first bought peeps from. Astralorp/Orpingtons, & comets were a few in the bloodline.

Hello, I just stumbled upon this list and was pretty excited

I have visited Marc a couple of times now, he lives just 20 min from us. Those chocolates Orps are just amazing! We cannot wait to start to work with those. Oh and the blacks too - I am definatley hooked on the English orps now. We were able to purchase his english lav orp roo, so we are really excited to start our project with him. I will post pictures as my chicks grow out, we are going to be doing alot of hatching

I have a question. I have all these chicks that are growing so quickly, but I have one that is not feathering in

it seriously only has a handful of feathers on each wing and they look almost frizzled. I will get a pic soon....

Krista they will feather in eventually. If you go back to the beginning of this thread where I did a progression of Charlie you will see how old he was and big before he got his beautiful feathers. Page 5
