well, doesn't seem like indicator of gender...just didn't know if the slow feathering meant anything else?

I was able to see these in person last week -- the photos just don't do them justice, the are even more beautiful in person! The chocolate color is so hard to capture in photographs, they are STUNNING birds. I am going to bid too, but I imagine these are going to go pretty high. Someday.......​

thought I was on his waiting list but I guess he needed some money to keep raising all the birds he is probably hatching out. I cant wait until he gets his reds.

Hi OSUman,

Is it wrong to try to break even for the import costs of these birds? And don't worry, I hatched plenty of chocolate chicks and they are feathering out right now.
