Very nice pictures, by the way!

Beth that is a very fine boy you rehomed. He has really good color. I hope you can share a photo of him in about six more months.

I sure will Julie. It's funny, after posting this I got an email from his new home that he was caught in the act today - he finally proved it!

just out of curiosity....what did the chocolate pair go for on bidbird? I forgot about it and missed the end...

A whopping $1341.00 18 bids in the last few minutes of the auction sent the price from $561.00 to it close. It was exciting to watch. All the bidders where verified as was the availability of these birds. We have talked with both winning bidder and seller already and this auction is a done deal now. Congrats to all involved. Tuffoldhen asked me to post pictures on my slow feathering girl.

Cheryl hatched some from Tuffoldhen's flock, and I was gifted 2 50% English Orps from her. At the time, the ugly ostrich was thought to be a boy - but it ended up she was just a really slow feathering girl.

This first picture is a few weeks after I got her and some more feathers came in. (roughly 8 weeks at this time) When I got her, she literally had no feathers between her wings down her back.
