The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Well, I took some photos today of The O's, Hagrid, Rumples and Bluebell. I also took some of the growing youngsters. I'll post in two different posts. These are the youngsters. THey hatched between 8-3 and 8-14 (the little splash W&C cockerel is the youngest).

These are Winston/Minerva and Winston/Clementine chicks.

The O's, Hagrid, Rumples and Bluebell. I'm just thrilled with the way that all 5 of these are growing out. The O's are 17 weeks old, Hagrid 15 weeks old, RUmples 13 weeks old, and Bluebell right at 12 weeks old.

Joy, they look fantastic- Bluebell is lovely! Are you still liking Rumples better than Hagrid? And the little ones are not so darn little anymore. They are nice and round looking. And hey- you can see some of their feet in these pictures!

Joy they look great. I love Rumples. The O's are magnificant. All the babies are getting grown up. Pretty, Pretty, Pretty.
I wish I had had time to take a few pic. It may be Sat before that can happen. Hey, I did get my hair cut and and fixed to day so i consider that a blessing.

They are getting sooo big! They're all beautiful, but man, those O's just take my breath away. Just something about a nice black. I love the blues, but a nice black is just awesome. Can't wait to see the O's all grown up! Gorgeous, Joy...

Got an appt to do that tomorrow. Today, went to the doctor, and tomorrow the salon. I really hate to leave-it's so sad. I'd much rather be home playing with my chickens and horses. How sad is that??

I know what you mean Paula. I have been gone way to much this week. Tomorrow will be the same. Ready for some chicken time. That is when I relax and chill for a while sit and peruse my birds and make big plans in my head on how I will group them up. One day it will cool off here too and I will get lots of outside work done.

I know, Julie. I really haven't been leaving much at all lately. But today, when it was time to come in to shower, I was just not wanting to quit out there. Just too much to do. Then I had to get a steroid injection in my shoulder, and so couldn't do much this afternoon. But I did get a horse bathed. So it wasn't a totally wasted evening.

It hasn't been quite as hot here the past few days. There has been a decent breeze, so not so bad. Hope you get some cooler weather soon. Get to moving some birds around...
