Is anybody else having trouble seeing pictures? Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. Jsut wondered if anybody else was having this issue.
I'm in love with The O's too. They are just magnificent. Yes, I think I am liking Rumples better than Hagrid, though Hagrid is such a sweet boy. I'm going to have a terrible time choosing which cockerels I am going to keep - since I have 7 of them !!! Winston, of course, stays...that is a given. I want to keep 3-4 other cockerels from this bunch...going to be hard to decide who to keep. On that note, I have a little black chick from Winston and Clementine that I would have sworn was a cockerel. Yesterday I was looking at them, and that chick could possibly be a pullet. I've never had so much trouble figuring out the sex of chicks before !! I think they are conspiring against me. There is a photo in the "youngster" group that has this black chick in it. I was going to have you all take a look and give me opinions, but since I can't see the photos, I don't know which picture it is !! I do know that it has 3 chicks in it and the black one has it's head all stretched up. If anybody sees anything black that looks like a pullet, let me know ! LOL.
I know what you all mean about leaving home. I rarely leave this place. I've gone 5 weeks without stepping foot off my property. Where would I want to go? I would much rather stay home with my dogs and chickens than run up and down the roads !!
Anyway, as to the weather....it cooled down real nicely here for the last week...but back up in the 90s the last few days and the humidity is out of control. It is supposed to be 96 today. The humidity is 84% right now and I'm already wilting. I am soooooooooo looking forward to our vacation week after next. Please keep your fingers crossed that we have nice weather. I am really looking forward to sitting on the beach and reading and fishing for a week.
