Just let me know when you're ready, I should have eggs to share with friends early this spring. I don't think I'll start hatching for myself until we get closer to the summertime... I want to try and brood chicks outside for the most part this year. It's a lot easier to keep others in the house happy without dust flying everywhere.

Who has really really short backed fat orp eggs?

This look is specifically what I will be breeding towards. I know that Julie has a very nice boy that is stocky and has a shorter back that she posted pictures of a few pages back.

Has anyone ever heard of this guy joel odell bluehenhatchery say's he has blue laced orp imports and is selling hatching eggs for glo on ebay i ased hi what the bloodline was and this was his replyI was the importer I did not go through proper chanels to get them here in 2006 I did not know the rules and got caught by the USDA i was fined and the alowed me to keep the birds that did hatch I do not have record of what the blood lines are. So they are my blood line they did not come from any big breeder or hatchery and no there are no feathers on their grey legs. more questuins feel free to call me.... the link above this post is the ebay sale...Is this guy a fraud??? i called the usda and they said if they have a seizure,they do not ever let anyone keep anything,and there is usally a hefty fine and prison time involved with smuggling.Whats your all's take on this.
