The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I'm not sure why, but loading pictures has once again become quite a chore. What do you think of this blue boy? He's from a different line than my English Blacks. Thank you.

Sorry for Picture quality. And last but certainly not least, my favorite blue, who won't work in the breeding program, Peach:

kidcody, sorry to hear this. We had a fox at our main run last night at dusk. I ran out to shoo him away. And that bugger just ran 15 feet and then stayed. I think a LGD is the only way to go, but can not commit to another thing right now.

maybe a 12ga shotgun with with good heavy loads would put the fix on mr. fox

just a thought

Marc, she is a F2 bird, I believe when she's mature that she will weight 6-7 pounds. Crossing her to my BBS line should help to significantly increase size that much more.

I'm expecting my F3 birds, her offspring to be only a few pounds away from true LF.

I got some True LF Orps in my bator

2 look good out of 6

once and if they hatch

i will be prdering another 6 more as i love the breed and want to have a flock of just orps as well as my others

So Jeremy, you crossed a split chocolate rooster with your LF black hens?
