i know, i have some eos brewing right now..im a total convert..love them..so excited.have a lot to learn about them and lots of good advisors here


dunno what it is about them they look so lovely

cant put my finger on it but they remind me of those cartoon i think disney where they have those mother hens

i think thge disney cartoon robin hood the white hen is a white orp

but thats what they remind me of

here is a pic of an orp from the flock of my egg supplier she is defo one of the layers to the eggs i get

 
OSU, my blue boy is 3 months. Taking his picture in the woods was not well thought out.. I really want some blues, and am not sure if he should be kept for breeding or not.

Jeremy, how is the fertility on the BBS eggs that you were going to auction? Have you had any success? I've been keeping my fingers crossed, you've got such beautiful birds.
 
Oh, hes way to young to tell if he will be good or not. Wait until hes about 6-8 months and you will know for sure.

The Orps are the small holdings fav breed

they where on sale as POLs a week ago for £45 i think that equates to $71 each

they have since been sold and a new batch is being reared hatched on 03/25/2012

im seriously considering getting some as i get them kindly delivered for me too by the owner

all my hens are from there

Went over to my good friend and chicken partner Imogene's house this afternoon so I could get a few photos of the Cocks she hatched or I hatched and gave her from my birds last year. These are two of them. We decided if we both had some to ensure we keep the best and both of us don't have to keep as many we would be better off. These are some wide load and spoiled boys. Just turned a year old this week

Looks like a pullet. I always look at tails and color on the blues. The males usually have some sor of shading for the dark saddle. The splash looks like a pullet in the pic.
