The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Joy, Hoss is the one behind the fence on your Left.
I thought I would post a few more pics i took today. This is a splash from the 5 month pen and as I picked her up the other day checking her out i noticed she has a damaged top beak. Looks like she might have hung it in the fence or somthing. Looks like the tip on top has a layer pealed off. I will have to watch this and see if I keep her.

Joy, so sorry you have been sick. Yuk. glad you are feeling better. My little grandson has a fever. I can't see any other symtoms. Just praying and gave him Ibuprophen. Has'nt slowed him down much.

Joy the B's are so beautiful. My goodness. W/M cross is great. I will call you on the cockerel.
I think the black is a boy.

I agree with both of you that the black is a boy. I just keep making things up in my head to have at least one pullet. *sigh* I love the B's too. Now I have B's and O's. What letter will be next....hmmmmmm. I think P's. I have a couple of pullet names picked out that start with a "P". Now I just need to get more pullets !!!

I can take more photos of the cockerels to e-mail to you Julie.

Your birds are gorgeous. When I get back from vacation, I definitely want to get 2-3 from you. Be deciding who you can bear to part with

Hoss looks really good. I am posting a few pictures of Winston at 6 months and 1 week old. See if these help with body type of Hoss. From what I can see, his body type does look a lot like Winston, but just so hard to tell in a picture.

I will call tomorrow evening. That boy had vacuming on his mind today. I had to let him vaccumn a bit a the Church building tonite. He is feeling okay right now. He just ate Banana Popsicle with two sticks side by side. That is what he ask for. No fever at the present. he did have to ride the Lawnmower this morning when His Papa got home from a meeting.

my little helper this morning and He gathered eggs this evening. That is when I discovered he had a fever. He was holding my hand and his was way to warm. He wanted to draw a Map tonite so he could go in the Woods and find his way back out. He is so sweet. We had to draw a pic of him and his dad by the Woods.

Awwwww.....he looks so cute in that picture. He is quite the little helper. He definitely needs to head up my way when he leaves your place. I hope he gets to feeling better.

What a cutie-and what a tough little boy if he had a fever and never said a word - hope he is all better.

Joy- Blueberry looks beautiful in that picture- I love that color! And I love the names. What are your "P" names?

Happy sunday everyone. The babies are now a month old and are enjoying their first outing on the grass. I put legbands on them so we can start guessing sex etc. Our little girl Sandy is starting to exhibit frizzle character with her curly little wings!

If you have time can you guys check out today's photo shoot?
