Joy, would that be considered "the empty nest syndrome"?

Jeremy, I would be honored to have the little light blue be "Beth" - although I still sort of like Elizabob.

Well, the USPS has it down between MO and NC - both times Kathyinmo has shipped me chickens, the Asheville PO has called me the minute they came in the next day, so that I could pick them up and they wouldn't have to make the trip to my PO. Of course, I haven't checked tracking numbers, so maybe I would get the same results if I did that!

Well the one I shipped yesterday finally arrived after 6 am this morn. I checked at about 6;30 and nothing but by 8 am they had the rest of the tracking and that he had been delivered.
I am going to call my P.O. again and make sure they hold him there for me.

Looking forward to my newbie.

Don't worry, I'm sure there's a little Elizabob in the bunch too.

ETA: Joy, hearing your vacation plans make it that much harder for me to drag myself to work this morning!

To think, I won't have any (real, extended) vacation time until December!

"Joy, would that be considered "the empty nest syndrome"? Literally, YES !!! I don't know if I'll be able to sleep without hearing peeping and cheeping !! The house will be too quiet. I'm sure my dogs will appreciate it, though.

Jeremy - I haven't had any time off since last October !! I am way past ready for a nice break. I have my books packed and ready to go !

Julie - Be sure to call me and let me know when your new youngster arrives. I hope he gets there okay. I'm looking forward to getting some nice fat girls from you as soon as I get back !!! Let me know how you like the chow-chow and soap !!

Kandace - it won't be too awful much longer. Remember, patience is a virtue (Yeah, I think that old saying sucks, too !!)

Oh, and I make soap too. We need to swap ideas.

Joy, I hope you packed a life raft, innertube, water wings, snorkle, flippers, and a couple bathing suits. Looks like it is gonna be a wet one.

Actually, last time I checked the weather forecast was looking pretty good. There are a few days of low chances of rain, but the rest look great. If it rains a day or two, no worries...we'll make soap on that day. I'm just happy to get away. A week at the beach with rain is better than a week anywhere else either rain or shine

Cheryl, I'll be back next Sunday evening.

I want soap! I've never made it and would LOVE to learn, can I come?
