Good news... My garden is ok.. .NOW if i can just keep one of my black hens out of it... She won't stay in the chicken yard and has helped herself to my cabbages, broccoli, and pepper plants... soo might have to replant after all :( Had twin baby Pygmy goats born this morning .. 1 of each sex. :) Now lets hope this new momma takes good care of them. Brad just left to go buy catle panels. We are going to make two summer breeding pens today :)

Your hen has great taste. All my tomatoes froze :( Hope you don't mind an off topic question, but do goats have the same "freemartin" problem that cows do if they birth both sexes? Will your baby girl goat be sterile? Sorry, I only know cows, but I figure goats are similar- but have twins and triplets all the time.

Edit to add- google answered my question for me. It rarely occurs in goats.

Love that Nellie..if only they had text when I was riding..and LOVE the canadian geese...the hospital that I work at has 2 large ponds , the geese stop over for hatch season..they are often grazing in the grass right outside the door with thier babies...the valet parking has had to box and carry several moms and babies back to the pond.. We had a couple of snow geese on the pond next door ,,I didnt have my camera with me..they moved on further south now..such a treat to see..it never gets old..
