So would that mean that mainly birds with American lines would possibly have that trait? Maybe those from English lines would not?
Do not the SOPs also dictate egg color?

Hi. I have gold laced orps, chocolate orps , bantam jubilee orps and I just got a roo and hatching eggs that are spangled/mottled orps from my friend Louise ( kidcody). I love my roo. I named him William, after prince William
How cool! My buff cockerel is named Prince Harry, after, you know, Prince Harry.

But I mainly just call him Harry. After all, he's got the right hair color and he might never be a king but he's for sure a Royal! LOL

I think the English orps are very majestic and regal. Royal names are very suited to them. I have many different colors of Cochins also, but my favs by far are my orpingtons.

they where sold to me as crele orpington. I have orpingtons and my chickens look nothing like this. could they be orpingtons at all?
