I snapped a few pics of my chick flock (I hatched in June) this morn....have 1 Korfus line Blue male at 7 weeks shown amongest 1 SOP Buff pullet and some SOP Buff Rocks...It's hard to appreciate how HUGE this blue male really is. I should have put something next to him for reference..but the other chicks are real good sized. He is looking like he has breeder potential, however it is so early.

Hey... I am pleased to announce the English chocolate Bantams from the eggs Don sent me are now LAYING... boy it sure don't take them long.. lol Soo Piglet..yes you are probably going to have chicks out of your black pullets sired by the roo you got from me very soon.. lol

I've got a Marans hen in quarantine right now, DH and DS operated on bumble foot.. she's ll wrapped up, doing well. Gotta love Utube for instructions for almost ANYTHING.

I'm wondering what you all think of this boy… He is almost 3 months, and that comb is just making me crazy… I like a nice comb on my boys… I know it's not as important as other things, but to me… if I gotta feed em, I wanna look at a nice comb.

I do like the thickness of his neck..and how full his chest looks in the pic... can't tell how round he is from those pics.. Nice eyes, feather color.... not fan of his comb though.

That Renie is something else ain't she. I did send her seversl US or to some "Roadrunners" they call them. She sent me 5 young buffs out of my females and her Midus male. I think I have 2 males and 3 females. They got here in western Oklahoma and it turned off hot ever since. Thay have done well and look pretty nice.

the ones i got from her are still too young to sex 100%
i will probably let all of them grow out for a while & see what i have.
my buff roo was getting nasty with the wife (big mistake on his part)

he went on "vacation"
a Greenfire farms lemon cuchoo roo is keeping the ladies company for now
getting some nice looking crosses with lemon barring on them
i figured i would try breeding a few of the pullets back to their dad to see what i would get.
