I think there is a big show in Springfield,Mass each yr... not but would like to go sometime.

 

Yes, the Northeastern Poultry Congress, I've been before but not shown there, it's a real big show, lots of fun. Although a bit chilly as it is in January...in Massachusetts. Brrrrrrr!

they will be fine...some lines just feather out slower than others...usually the slower growing ones are the prettiest when they get grown

Anyone headed to Twin Tiers in New York next weekend?, WE ARE!!! I am super stoked and hear I may run into Aveco there? We really have nothing show worthy, but I'll be there and am bringing a blue Orp to show, I look forward to talking poultry and cheering for my littles when they do showmanship.

I don't know about that show, where is it?

take some pics for everyone i.f.you.go.this.year..its a group of people that have fantastic birds but they quietly go about their bisness..so its a suprise when you go in and there are some super nice birds .i like that..some of the birds i saw there a few years ago could hold their own in any show ,any.where ...really nice show.and beautiful country!!.

I have a Nikon d90. If I'm taking pics outside with great light and use my vivid setting, the colors really pop. The sunlight really brings out the amazing color in these birds. I've noticed the same with the red on my Jubilee roos. It's stunning. I think a great camera really captures this. Nothing wrong with that, IMO. Dragonlady, your birds are fantastic in every picture I've seen of them!

I do, but nobody ever ends up seeing those pictures and I have gotten to the point of wanting my own fluffy butts
