Now Joy, someone needs to help me. I can't find chicks by Nava. What page? Please.

Jeremy we are all excited about the Sirius and O combo

Jeremy - These Bluebell eggs are fertile from when she was with Hagrid.

As of this past weekend, I have The O's and Clementine with Sirius ( and Clementine is EXTREMELY upset with me - she has never been separated from Winston before). I have Nigel with Blueberry, Bluebonnet, Bluebell, Portia, and Prudence. Winston has Minerva, Matilda, and Portia.

Hagrid and I have parted ways. It was a hard decision, but he really was hard on the girls...he ripped two deep gashes in Petra's sides. They have healed up very nicely and Winston, while he was a bit rough last year, has really turned into quite the gentleman. It was a hard decision, but hard decisions are part of having chickens

Well Pooh !! The reason you can't find Nava's pictures is because they weren't Nava's !!! I'm an idiot. They were Karen's pictures.

Sorry for the confusion. Somebody

me.

Jeremy - Yep, pure black from Nigel and The O's. Clementine is in with Sirius, too, IF she ever decides to give me another egg !!!

I can't wait to see The O's/Sirius babies either.

I'm sooooooooooo excited to hatch this year and I am obsessed. I go to bed and the last thing I think about is chickens, and the first thing I think about when I wake up is chickens !!

Where did Hagrid go?

I actually just rehomed my blue cockerel to another BYC member here in California, he lives in Modesto a couple of hours away now. After I met Joel to give him the birds, he took home one of my black pullets as well, I felt extremely upset about letting my big blue boy go.

Joel seemed very excited about getting his start with his own English type Orp pair but I just felt very regretful over the decision for a couple of days. My biggest reasoning of finding him a new home was actually because both he and Edmund have begun mating my pullets. Edmund is very gentle so far it seems, he doesn't quite dance yet but he does drop a wing and almost "waits" for the okay to mount one of the girls. The blue cockerel would literally pounce on any pullet that walked close to him, grab her by the neck and try to do his business. So because he was rough he went to live elsewhere. I still feel sad over seeing him go, writing this now is upsetting me all over again! Sorry, I'm such a sap for my babies.

The only positive is that he didn't go too far and Joel was very nice by letting me know he would keep ne updated on his growth. I may just get eggs from him a couple months down the road in hopes of a pullet or two out of the big blue boy.

Katy - is that red in the one? That much red? Yikes !! That blue boy looks like an ostrich !! Gracious. I hope he grows into his neck too.

You have some really wonderful looking girls, though. That splash girl is a beauty
