Well, it was a gorgeous day today so the older chicks went out to play. I took some pictures and thought I'd post them. I took some of the GL Chicks and black chicks, will post them in the next post.

These chicks are are from age 3 weeks to about 5 weeks. In the first two pictures, look at the feathering. The chicks are the same age, but the first is a cockerel and the second picture is a pullet. Notice the difference in feathering.

Wow, how they have grown. They are really beautiful. your blue girls have nice lacing. Love the shape on those GL Heavy in the front. . Looks like they may be slow feathering too.

My guys figured out how to find cooler weather today. They headed WAY back in the woods. I had to crawl and shimmy and climb to get back to them. I'm pretty sure I won't have an inch of skin not covered in poison ivy.

I would love to post pictures of Pierre with the girls, but he had led them further out and I had to draw the somewhere!

They are seven months old and are HUGE! For the last couple of weeks I thought that they couldn't get any bigger, but they do!

Tenn, they are gorgeous. I would like to see some more photos of them with closer up. If you are scratching all over get us some more. I love these big English birds.

The blue ones are out of Chester. The all have great big heads and fat bodies. Big chicks. The little one is for Joy. She wanted to see a comparision size of my bantam cornish compared with LF chicks.
