I know some folks on this thread have purchased some chicks from the new Cream Legbar Rees line. I would love to see photos of these chicks maturing. Probably other thread followers would love to see some too! If you purchased the new line please post photos and discuss pluses and minuses of the new line

Hope everyone's summer is going well. My legbar pullets are getting ready to start laying soon already. I was looking over birds today and realized that I am really pleased with how they're all turning out, well except the male with an ugly comb and a rose combed pullet with an inverted spike. The tails have been something that I focus on and I am happy to say that every legbar hatched this year (that is still around) has a good tail that is about the right angle and with the spread I like. Our APA show at the fair starts next weekend, adults check in on Tuesday so I'll get some pics of my favorites in the show cages.

A little help....CCLs...only two have big obvious white spots on the head and are lighter in color. The others have a tiny white spot and are darker...what do you think as far as sex?

Top looks female and bottom looks male

X2 on doubleMM's evalution ...females have a little sliver of white and very distinct chipmunk stripes...males big head blotch and their chipmunk stripes get blurred. IMO a really good example of both... they also still retain their 'wildtype' characteristics. Congratulations and nice chicks!!
