The eggs in the turner go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth

I just may have to get this as a tattoo!

The chicken calculator says 100% white......

Have you got a Splash with no gold and no cuckoo? I would guess they would be split for blue and if breed to each other blues would pop up but I don't know for sure. If you used a cuckoo they would all carry cuckoo.

My Splash roo shows no copper, no silver/cuckoo. I guess we will see. I have my 2 Whites in his pen right now but don't know which eggs are theirs. I think as soon as I can I will pull the girls and collect their eggs to hatch and see! I still do not have a White roo.
Chad let me know if any of the eggs you got hatch out White!!

I would guess it would mess up the leg color too as the Whites should have white/pink legs and the blues have slate but hey we will see!

Your splash does not have dark legs.... it may only pass to SOME chicks, so just cull. I would not breed them together and I would not breed them back to dad.... that would be how you would get your blues to pop up.

Becky if I have any that hatch white I will let you know. How important is it really to candle I don't want to take the chance of dropping any eggs. I did a quick random candling the other day, the Lav Orps looked good but it's just herd to see the Marans. I know all my eggs are fresh I just don't want to end up with a stink bomb some say if they are fresh you really have nothing to worry about.

I can't see into most of my eggs so I don't candle much. That being said I do a "sniff" test every few days, you will deffinitly know if one is going off. The trick then is to find the one!
