Darwin is my chamois frizzle. S/he has a flat but round crest. The under-beak is still pink. I've always wanted a chamois polish so I really hope for a girl.

Basil is a frizzle white. S/he also has a flat, round crest. The under-beak is still pink.

Clover is a white smooth. S/he has a tall, rectangular crest. Tyhe under-beak is slightly red. I think this is a rooster.

Thanks in advance. Any guesses are welcome, but make sure you say if you are guessing or knowing so I don't get freaked out...

Meet my polish - named Polish!
he's such a cutie...when they were 4 wks old and I would take them in the pet carrier from garage to the backyard for playtime, he preferred to follow me rather than be inside carrier with the 3 silkies. He would stay right behind me til we got to the gate then it was like a horse seeing the babarndoorand he'd fly bout 6" off ground!
Now, he's 10 wks old and started crowing last week! He prefers sitting up high rather than down low with silkies...and if he can't get them to come to the coop, he gets on TOP of the coop LOL.
So I gave him a quilt rack I had an extra of that will be a perch for him once the new run gets here and is setup!
I've got to give him either a haircut or man bun! Poor guy runs into the silkies, the chicken wire, me...yall know of any suggested videos for trimming?

For trimming, I'd suggest using round-ended scissors. I use something like this...

Even if the bird flinches, you won't hurt her.

You need to trim the feathers around and in front of the eyes
That's a good idea. I thought about nail clippers, but those are a bit hard to maneuver

I forgot to mention... Always trim when the birds are tired, maybe the late afternoon. If they are tired they will just relax on your lap without struggle
