That's a good idea. I thought about nail clippers, but those are a bit hard to maneuverFor trimming, I'd suggest using round-ended scissors. I use something like this...

Darwin is my chamois frizzle. S/he has a flat but round crest. The under-beak is still pink. I've always wanted a chamois polish so I really hope for a girl.

Clover is a white smooth. S/he has a tall, rectangular crest. Tyhe under-beak is slightly red. I think this is a rooster.

I forgot to mention... Always trim when the birds are tired, maybe the late afternoon. If they are tired they will just relax on your lap without struggle@laneaj
