Good Morning/Evening to you all and sure hoping this will be a good day for all and the beginning of a great weekend.

Things are crazy here. Today will be day 71 without rain. The 30 acres with cows are nothing but dirt. Hay is over twice in price if you can find any. I'm feeding in July. I usually run on pasture only from April to November. Its hard to get cow cubes too. Its been over 100 F most of those days too. We had a bad drought like this in 2011which we thought was a 100 year event. My climate is subtropical normally which means rain every afternoon and tropical storms twice or three times a season.

My neighbor has a sign that I love... "We don't call 911, we call 1911" For those who may not be gun savvy, a 1911 is a .45 caliber pistol with a very old and wonderful design.
