The Quack Shack

Yay for Ollie!! Now that you know the correct does for the antibiotic hopefully you’ll begin to see improvement. Along with getting the nasties out of his foot. That’s what I did when Pearl my Runner had bumble she was on antibiotic 7 days before I cut the bumble out an 7 days after.

I call it liquid pus and solid pus, but Kathy would be a more reliable guide on the terminology front, lol.

While you can debate the name of the gunk, the one thing undebatable, is it came from a dux and is naturally toxic to humans....

Which is another reason to attend your local chapter of Down with Dux meetings.

Morning Duxxy peoples!!!

I'll attend, as will all my ducks. They'll stare at you until you become uncomfortable with your sins and dissolve the group.

Mornin Ralphie!
Do turkeys normally put most of their face in the water to drink? Or are my turkey still just into a suicidal experimental stage?

It went very well! That pimple like thing... a lot of puss came out and hard skin like things :sick Along with some blood... I dug SO deep into his foot and got out as much as I could... it was all skin and blood and it stung him. We will continue to give antibiotics and ointment along with a bunch of treatment. My dad helped me this time so it went better than last time :bun
good job

I am assuming that is a learned behavior from watching dux drink... or they have decided suicide is preferable to being forced to live with dux..

Turkeys are smart like that.

Or they love the dux so much they want to become them. I'm sure if the turkeys hated them, they'd attack. My muscovies would love to change your mind about dux, they're great cuddlers.:D
