Just think how much of this we probably eat in our food? Dog hair floating through the air lands everywhere.
I already have 2 cats. My one is over 15, hoping she lives longer. Nowadays she just sleeps and walks around, she can run but she mostly sleeps. She's very energetic for an old cat. I have a grey Maine coon and a calico american short hair. Both of which were strays. They're outside cats though, which makes keeping them so easy. When my 4 go I think I’ll go with a cat. Just am not sure I can go with out a mini Dachshund.
I have an indoor porch for them to stay in the winter, there choice to go in or out. It's heated but they don't get cold easily, especially when they're moving about. I've had my cats out in -10 F. They're pretty cold hardy, mine at least.I would have a problem keeping my cats outside unless I could keep them in with the birds. It gets cold here.

I've never seen her in water. She never swam in it, simple paws in it and baths. Her fur is thinning though because of her age. She used to have such thick fur it'd knot up so much, which is why we'd give her baths, rarely but we didn't have money to take her to a groomer. In all fairness, a Maine Ccoon is a beast of a cat. Big and beautiful ball's of fluff that can swim! Does you MC like water Kendra?
