Some cats...others not so much
I'll have to agree with Ralphie on this one. Some cats are great, other would make great hand warmers.

We have one of each here. Our barnless barn cat is awesome. He was raised by our dogs, and is very dog like. Therefore, he's great.

The other one is... He's ran up one side and down the other a few times. He's a very pretty gray tabby... nice stripes... long enough to warm both hands past the wrist.

Over where I'm at strays are over populated, there is a bunch. You see them on highways, alleys, small towns and there were even some dropped by the barn next to my house. I don't find it to be the animals fault, but the past events it'd had experience that would need us to earn it's trust. Obviously it's just the personality of some. Like pitt bulls are misunderstood by some people.

Our nice cat was a stray kitten. Here just showed up one day, and never left. He's a fun little fella, and he helps protect the birds. He's very sweet to people, but has a tom cat like mean steak towards the stray cats here.

Our brute cat is territorial as it gets, and chases other animals of, not the birds. I don't trust him though, but I do feed him good (no eating my flock!). Most of the birds are bigger than him, so I'm not that worried, he's not a big hunter, but he is a big jerk.

My little blanket monster. :love
