Hi there Misty. Where you able to get the coop all battened down?
I sure was and they are loving it. We have had some pretty high cold winds lately and they do not like it at all. I just threw some grape tomatoes in their run just because they look like they have so much fun chasing them around and gobbling them up. Hope all is well in your world!

It's going okay, today has been nice and relaxing. Besides wanting a bunch of food I dont have here that is.

I gave the birds blackberries and a couple chopped tomatoes yesterday. It was great watching them. I was impressed by some of the chickens just eating blackberries whole. No pecking at all.

I take snacks over to my neighbors chickens since they don't get to come over and play anymore. I love watching them scarf down some food. So cute

OK I'm making some food. This is some homemade pasta sauce ingredients are broccoli parsley carrot basil and garlic. Everything's home grown, organic, and comes from a good friend of mine's garden in the mountains of Vermont. I'm going to do ground turkey, and w/e else looks good. This will end up being for dinner, but I'm getting started now. :D
