the silkie slickers

Pics
I have heard mixed results about keeping multiple silkie cockerels in the same pen. Apparently some get along really well and some don't. I am going to try it next year with Archie and a few of his sons so I will add the results onto the group. I think if they have enough ladies and space they are fine together.
I am sooo jealous of your camera and photos, mine dont look very good at all 😂😂😂

If you have the space it’s worth a try, as you say there is mixed results of it so it does just depend on the birds behaviour and their environment really. Worth a try 👍🏻

I would love to keep a few but I’ve only got one main coop and it’s not big enough for two males. I could use my growers coop or breeding pens but then I’m using up space I need 😅

Aw thankyou, all I use is stick on backing (white one) and stick it onto the plastic trays out of dog cages. Stand them next to each other and magic...there’s your own home mini studio! You can get rolls of it from Wilko for £5 I think and they have a few different colours. Black would be better for taking photos of whites!

Will try that definitely! Thank you for the advice 😁📸

Here is a little closer photo of the silver colored one. Hoping it stays blueish color since my son wants one of every color 😂

Probably both, poultry shows are the bomb :woot:woot
I would go for black because they are much more popular than the other two in shows so you will have more to compare your stock with. Blacks are also easier to show because you don't have to worry about getting the right quantity of colours or shade as you do with the other two you just need it to be as dark as you can. Good luck with whatever you chose though! 👍
