~The Threat of The Shadows~ A Warrior Cat RP

"Your fanged kin find's me strange, I do believe." Breezepaw murmured, glancing around as they followed the path to the Two-Leg Place.

"Batfang finds everyone strange, he likes you alright, he just seems standoffish. You know how it is with our clan mates, they kinda all look at us funny so he's just being wary." Pigeonflight reassured her, Batfang didn't talk or like a lot of cats but Breezepaw was probably one of the ones he was more comfortable with.

"They look at me and my kin strange as well." Breezepaw mumbled, her voice barely audible. She picked up the pace suddenly, ducking low to avoid a bramble tendril, and slowed when the Two-Leg Place loomed in sight.

Pigeonflight sighed "Yeah, it just comes with the background. Me and my brother aren't clan born and you and sister have the whole Pebblefire... situation... but hey at least we have each other's back!" She picked up her pace to keep up with Breezepaw, her eyes casted to the looming Two-Leg dens, a fence guarding them from what lay inside the Two-Leg Place.

Breezepaw scented a sweet, alluring scent she instantly recognized as catmint, and a she made a mental note to tell Beetlepaw about it later. Her jaws parted, instantly picking up more scents. ThunderClan cats...and dogs...two legs...Mouse!

(As far as I can see, everything's good. Accepted)

Pigeonflight's eyes stayed trained on Two-leg Place, she didn't like being this close. "Do you scent anything worth catching?" She asked suddenly, forcing her gaze away from the structures in front of her so she could focus on her apprentice.

The scent of mouse was very strong, and Breezepaw wondered whether there was a mouse nest or not. She glanced at her mentor, and gave a slight nod. There was a rustle in the grass, and a gray and brown mouse shot from it, and darted under one of the bushes by the fence, collecting seeds hurriedly. Breezepaw looked at her mentor, silently asking again.

Pigeonflight watched the mouse carefully, she was still very alert to their surroundings and she wasn't liking how close to the fence it was but she nodded to Breezepaw and signalled for her to take a left approach with her tail. She lowered herself and crept towards the mouse's right side, she would make sure that this mouse wouldn't get away if it became aware of either of them.

Silent...careful...it could hear the rustle of grass... Breezepaw crept forward slowly, placing one paw in front of the other delicately. The mouse was to busy collecting seeds to even notice her, as she crouched. She leapt at the mouse, but missed by several inches, and the mouse scuttled back into the grass. "Fox-dung." She muttered.
