There are different shades of feathering that can come in. They will lose all these feathers anyway when they go through their juvenile molt at around 13 weeks. It may change when they mature more.
What size eggs do bantam Wellies lay? Ounces are much for helpful than descriptions, unless solid comparisions can be made. Tailfeather's golden duckwings are lovely. I'm wondering if they compare in size, weight, and eggs to the partridge? Is there any reason, other than obvious size vulnerability, a bantam Wellie can't forage?
