This chicken is not dead

Pics
When you first started this thread, I showed the pictures to one of my family members and he said, tongue-in-cheek, something like, "You can see they are not really dead because their feet are not sticking up in the air."
So this picture by @PrettyCoolChicks just takes the cake!
You better show him the picture so he doesn't bury anyone who's not dead yet.

My sister sent me this. Didn’t know where to post it, decided to post here since I love this thread 🙂

I didn't get a photo, but my chickens got me twice in a row last week. I walked outside and saw my best cockerel all wonky on the ground in the run with a leg up in the air, not moving... :barnie then after about 30 seconds he did a little flip and proceeded with his dust bath.

After that I walked to my pullet's grow out coop and saw my black Ameraucana all frumped out on her side not moving next to the feeder, so I opened the run hoping she was still alive, she was, just bathing... but I think they had it all planned out, she acted dead to get me to open the gate so the other girls could dart through my legs to free range :idunno:th

This isn't a poultry story but I thought it was fitting,
So one of the bunnies we bought from an auction had been bred by one of the males in the cage but we didn't know that, so we kept her and a month later she had a uterine collapse and died along with all the babies. My sister had to deal with it because she is the bunny keeper, but ever since, every time I have to take care of the bunnies when she is at work they all go "Guys shes coming, quick everybody get down" and they all strech out and then jump up and say "Gotcha!"
