I was working at the local fair a few weeks ago, and after hours of cleaning up and sitting in the hot sun I got put on chick duty (sit in front of a brooder of new chicks and hold a week old chick, let people pet it etc) any ways this chick was a master at “dead” naps, I wish I had my phone for pictures then. It would lay down legs out to the side or neck extended forward, probably concerning all the tourists

They either all drank the Kool-Aid or this is a planned ambush for that pesky hawk. I'm thinking the latter, because it appears one lady is on "Look-Out!"

No pictures as it's fairly dark and I didn't have my phone on me, but I went out to put the girls up and Ginger was stretched flat out on the roost with her head underneath Vanilla. I went to pet her and of course she was perfectly fine but she had me worried for a minute there lol
For some odd reason my birds like to place their head underneath another bird. Hey, i'm a burrower myself (although I also sleep hot so quite a combination lol), I get it, it's comfortable. At least look a little more lively for my sake lol
