This is what the girls gave me today!

I'm so excited....this is what the girls gave me today! For the longest time I had been only getting the two brown eggs from my high production layers. Now finally the EE's have come on board and my silkie cross. Now the last hold out is my Barred Rock...still waiting. It's like evey trip to the chicken coop feels like Christmas Eve....I never know what I'll receive as a gift from the girls.

It was your lucky day. My daughter has 11 pullets and has been waiting and waiting for her first eggs.
Then about three weeks ago she found her first two, now she gets about 8 a day. Her fridge is filling up.
Me I'm still waiting for my six pullets that could start any day. I have three older girls, but there all molting
and have stopped laying. I'll sure be glad when the young ones start laying. Congratulations on your eggs.
I would really like to get a few EE's, Had some once and really enjoyed the colored eggs.

Those are quite lovely, I cant wait till I can show off my colorful collection. The babies should start laying within the next month or so.
