That would give a cushion comb. And it's already established there is no Araucana or Ameraucana in him.

No Araucana? I didn't see that just "not a drop of Ameraucana or EE in this bird" will have to look up comb genetics though, I've never looked into them

An Araucana mix would technically be an Easter Egger.

I'm looking at the photo more, I'm not sure... But since I think it's a pea comb... This is really a hit or miss... Probably a miss... Does he have any Dark Cornish?

Okay, next clue....his sire was a pure breeder quality Buff Orpington, so that's where he got the white skin. I was getting BBS and Buff Orpington hatching eggs sent to me. So, that leaves mama. And it floored me when I got a picture of the only possible mother for C.J. Remember she was a bantam. This may not really be a very fair guessing game, but it was meant to illustrate how genetics can mess with your mind! A few more guesses and I'll pop up a picture of C.J.'s mother.
