Goose #2 also died. I opened it up further than the other, to be sure. It's beak was pointed at the little end of the egg, I think they both tried to pip in the wrong spot and died. Now I'm worried about the calls in the incubator with the wonky air cells. I'm going to candle everyone tonight and mark the one's with bad air cells so I can keep a close eye on them. They are on day 21 or 22, I can't remember which day I set them for sure. I'm locking them down Sunday night. The quail should hatch around the same time, and then I'm putting the incubator away until spring.

SM- I really don't know. Mine always had big air cells.
Chickencrazy, Welcome! And thanks. How are your eggs doing? I do that with my quail sometimes, I'll throw a few in the next night and then forget they weren't all set together.
So Sorry Julie.......
I have so many with bad air cells. I am watching them so carefully. I have all of the eggs that were shipped to me, including my chicken eggs sitting all upright at an angle. I hope they make it. Did you see my goose air cells? What do you think? They ALL have the detached air cells.
